RHS Veterans’ Kiosk Nears Completion

The RHS Veterans’ Memorial Committee achieved their next step with the installation of the kiosk in the high school lobby on Friday, April 17. This project continues the committee’s work to honor RHS veterans.

The work was made possible by Newsome Painting and Remodeling Company, who built and installed the kiosk. Partners in the company are Charlie Lucas (far left — RHS graduate) and Greg Newsome (far right — attended Riverside schools through the eighth grade). Also helping are Justin Nowakowski (middle left) and Steve Winters (middle right) of Newsome Painting and Remodeling.

The TV screen that will display veterans’ names will be installed when the school reopens.

Former students and all employees who are veterans are encouraged to submit their information using the alumni association webpage on the Veterans’ Memorial.
