On August 8, 2020, from 10 a.m. to noon, we have arranged a tour of Riverside High School. Visit your old classrooms, the gym and locker rooms, the choir room, and even the stairwells!
At noon, we will migrate to the Lake County History Center grounds next to the high school. We will be using their recently renovated barn with air conditioning, indoor restrooms, and more. After lunch and the official program, we are invited to visit the Pioneer Village behind the barn, and the Museum will also be open. The grounds will be open until 5 p.m. for our event.
The program will include a raffle, recognition of military veterans, entertainment and more! The picnic is potluck with the categories of food assigned by the first letter of your last name. The Alumni Association provides the paper products, serve ware and water. Bring your pictures, yearbooks, and other RHS memorabilia to share with others along with the stories you remember. Anyone who has attended or worked at Riverside High School is welcome to attend.
Consider joining us for another great gathering in 2020. Many classes are represented and often class reunions are organized around this date. Yours should be too.
Details about food assignments will be available in early summer 2020. Reservation forms will also be available at that time.
